March 17, 2008: Statistical Reporting added to VISUALjob for Control-M

Mönchengladbach, Germany – March 17, 2008 – APS|ENTERprise software consulting gmbh has announced additional functionality has been added to the new release of VISUALjob for Control-M that will allow users to generate free-form statistical reports based upon historical Control-M runtime data.

The statistical reporting within VISUALjob for Control-M answers questions such as “What were the run times of specific jobs for a specific period of time?” or “What jobs ended in NOTOK the previous day?”.

Within the VISUALjob interface users will be able to use robust filtering criteria to narrow the focus of reports based upon criteria such as dates, times, job, node id, job status, completion status, day of week, and more. All statistical reports are generated without the use of third party products, individual scripting, proprietary skills or production resources. All statistical reports can be exported to MS Excel for delivery via email or subsequent processing and analysis.

These statistical reports, along with the other reports and job flow documentation that can be created within VISUALjob, will provide directors, managers and auditors with the metrics they need to make key business decisions.

“Statistical reporting will compliment the long list of integrated features already within VISUALjob, making it the most robust value-added solution for Control-M on the market today.” said Managing Director of APS|ENTERprise software consulting gmbh, Peter Thiermann.

VISUALjob statistical reporting will be implemented as a core feature and will not require further licensing beyond the VISUALjob base product.
