Through its user friendly and intuitive Web interface the end users can automatically assign values to parameters; provide input files; check on a job’s processing status and/or results produced; receive output files. UpTown also allows users to automatically assign values to parameters for scheduled batch jobs and through its architecture and features allows to connect parameters definition and modification to the “Change Management “ cycle and other technologies that support it.

A typical UpTown application would be an end user requirement to reprint a statement from a previous year. The user would invoke the UpTown application and insert values into the Job parameters such as customer account number, month, year, etc. UpTown triggers the Job that creates the requested statement, then monitors the Job’s status.
